So, we live by the seaside and regularly go on the beach or along the seafront in Teignmouth. I suspect you already know that, it’s not as if we keep it a secret.
One of Betty’s more endearing activities is when she spots people eating fish and chips on the front. Often the seagulls are there as they eat, hovering and generally making themselves a nuisance as they try to obtain a share.
She’s wise to this one is our Betty. She charges up, doing her little sheepy-bounce of joy, chases the seagulls off, usually to the great relief of the fish and chip eaters……
……..…then sits down in front of them for her share as a reward for helping out.
Oddly enough this often works too!
